"Royal Bahrain" Organizes "Diabetes and Endocrinology" Conference Next Thursday
Under the patronage of Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, Royal Bahrain Hospital, in collaboration with several companies, is organizing the "Diabetes and Endocrinology" conference from February 21 to 22. The conference aims to highlight the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and endocrine disorders, and to facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences among specialists from around the world. The conference will focus on discussing the challenges faced by diabetes and endocrine disorder patients in Bahrain, especially with the rising diabetes rate, which has reached 14.7% according to recent statistics. The conference will also address the strategic objectives of the National Plan to combat chronic diseases and diabetes by 2030, in addition to reviewing preventive and therapeutic initiatives to reduce the health and economic impacts of the disease.
